We are in the midst of a new space age, one in which we have new tools to explore the Universe in unparalleled detail providing us with the ability to answer some of the greatest questions; How are the stars and planets formed? Where were the chemical ingredients of life formed? And Are we alone? However, we are not only exploring space but increasingly exploiting space for our own use, from satellites to lunar bases the global space industry is developing new technologies.
In this seminar I will review this exciting new space age and discuss the role ATOMKI may play in forwarding space research and technologies including planned activities of the space chemistry group.
